Curious Cats with Wynn

Good morning everyone and welcome to our latest challenge over at

Thank you for all your beautiful creations in our last challenge, I will have trouble choosing my
TOP 3 from so many entries. I will let the team now once I have made a decision and Carol will post my choices in two weeks time.

We are still holding our challenge in tribute to Wendy, the link is below
Thanks for your entries so far

For this week's challenge, it is the choice of WYNN and she decided to give you
CURIOUS CATS

My Design is shown below

I used a 4 x 4 Scalloped Card for my base in white
The Navy Die Cut is an Anja Die and one of my favourites
To this I attached this lovely Paw Print backing paper from
Furry Friends CD by Joanna Sheen and rounded the corners.
My main image is from the same CD and I love this adorable kitten peeking out of the handbag.
I designed this with my Sister in mind as she loves Cats and he reminds me of her cat called Woody.
For interest I used Card Candi on the corners.

The picture doesn't do the card justice and is sitting alongside me while I prepare my post.

I hope you will join us both for this challenge and also our challenge for Wendy.

Please remember to use something from a CD in your creation and tell us which CD you have used to be in with a chance of wining a prize from Wynn.

See you again in two weeks

I chose my TOP 3 for Coffee, Peach and Cream and Jenny has posted my choices on this weeks challenge post.
Jenny will be sending a little something to my winner as I am now out in Spain and I don't have a lot of things here to be able to post to you.

Our challenge this week is chosen by
JOCELYN
and is

My Design Team card is shown below

I used a 6 x 6 White Scalloped Card which I made into an Easel Style
For my backing papers, I used for the first time one of my

A Lemon Fabric Flower is attached to the Die Cut
My 'stepper' is from the same CD and reads
CONGRATULATIONS
This is my Song Title and of course a well known Eurovision Song entry from
Sir Cliff Richard
I added a few Purple Pearls around the card edge and also on my stepper.

I hope you can find time during the busy christmas build up to join in with us.
All the team love visiting your blogs and leaving comments.

CD SUNDAY - HATS

Good morning to you all. Looks like Summer has arrived.
I have scheduled today's post as by the time you read all about our latest challenge over at
Hubby and I will be travelling with our local MX5 Group down to the Cotswolds.
We couldn't have asked for a nicer day so it's 'TOP's down all the way.

As it is the start of a new month we not only have a new Guest Designer but also a super Sponsor.
We welcome back the lovely TESS as July's Guest Designer and if you have joined us from the beginning of our challenge's you will remember that Tess was one of our original Design Team members.

I have been lucky to persuade the lovely SUSAN ANDREWS, who is
JEM's DESIGNS to Sponsor us this week and she kindly sent all the DT and GDT a CD to use.
Thank you Susan and I hope you will like what we have designed.
One lucky person will be chosen by Random Org to receive a copy of the CD.

I am sure you will have seen Susan recently on Create & Craft showing her latest CD's and this particular CD has been designed by the lovely SHEENAGH HULIN

Now onto our challenge which we decided to call
HATS (the CD is actually called Hat Box Confections)
I lot of scope we hope for you this week.

My DT Card is shown below

RECIPE
An A5 cream card for the base to which I added one of the super backing papers from the CD.
The design I chose is called CHOCOLATE ORANGE
I chose a Pyramid Image for the main design which was printed onto Matte Photo Paper.
This in turn has been mounted onto an Anja Die and two beautiful Marianne Flowers complete the design.
I am a little disapointed in how the main image shows up and wish I had printed it onto Glossy Photo Paper to give more colour depth.

This CD is beautiful and I couldn't just let you see this image alone so I have made another to showcase what is on the CD
This additional card design is called
SPEARMINT ICE
and you can see it below

Another A5 card to which I added this gorgeous backing paper, printed directly onto Glossy Photo Paper
My topper is from a selection on the CD, so many to choose from.
I mounted it onto a Spellbinders - 'Marvelous Square' cut out in White for contrast.
To complete the design I just had to use my latest purchase of Heartfelt Creations - Delicate Asters Dies, they are gorgeous and I have my fellow team member Jenny to thank for telling me about them.

I hope you are still with me and hope you will join in with us again.
Remember to use something from a CD in your design and say which it is you have used.
Before you go, do pop over to see the stunning designs my team mates have for you .

CD SUNDAY - ORNATE BLOSSOM

Good morning to my followers and welcome to another challenge from us at
I hope you are having some sunshine back home as it is beautiful here in Spain.

Thank you for all your entries in last weeks theme of Weddings, you did us proud and we loved seeing your creations. Sue T will have a difficult task choosing her TOP 3.

GLORIA continues as your Guest Designer and she has designed a beautiful card so do pop over to her blog to read all about it.

It is my turn to choose this weeks theme and as it is the month of May I decided to give you
ORNATE BLOSSOM.

My DT Card is below

My recipe this weeks is:
6 x 6 Scalloped Card Blank
2 backing papers and my image is from Joanna Sheen's Oriental Dreams CD
The main paper is from the Satin collection and the two die cuts are from the Leaves collection.
I used my latest purchase from Joanna which is the beautiful ANJA DIE - LR0272
The main image is printed onto Glossy Photo Paper
When I ordered my Die, I also ordered a pack of Prima flowers in pastel shades which I added as a finishing touch.
I must remember to bring our more embellishments next time.

I hope you will join in with us again as we love to see your creations and leave comments on your blogs (for me this is the best part of being a DT)

Remember to use something from a CD and say which it is you have used.

Do visit my fellow team's blogs to see their take on this weeks theme, all different and stunning as always.

CD SUNDAY - WEDDINGS

Good morning to you all , I hope you are enjoying the Bank Holiday.
I am still out in Spain and the weather here is super so I hope it is the same back home.

Another week has flown by which means time for our latest challenge over at
Thank you for your stunning entries for Purple Paradise, a popular choice and I know Wendy will find it difficult to choose her TOP 3.

As it is the start of a new month we have a new Guest Designer joining us and we were thrilled when GLORIA accepted our invitation.
I have met her just the once at Port Sunlight and she is a lovely lady.

Our newest team member - Sue T has chosen your theme this week and it is fitting as Gloria 'tied the knot' herself on April 25th. Congratulations to you both

Here is my DT Card

I chose yet another 6 x 6 Scalloped Card Blank for the base of my design.
Using my beautiful ANJA DIES - LR0242  I cut out a couple of mats to showcase the main element of my card.
The papers and the lovely image of the Wedding Couple are from
Debbi Moore's Wedding Stationery CD.
They are all printed onto Glossy Photo Paper and I carefully cut out the embellishments from the same section of the CD to add to my design.

I hope you will join in with us this week as we love to see your designs and leave you comments.
For me, this is the best part of being a DT member.

Remember to use something from a CD in your design and say which it is you have used.

Do take a look at my fellow 'teamies' creations, they are stunning as always.

CD SUNDAY CHALLENGE - FELINE FRIENDS

Good morning everyone and welcome to our latest challenge over at
Thanks for all your entries in last week's challenge, some great takes on the theme.
This week it is Beryl's turn to choose the theme and she chose
FELINE FRIENDS
KEVIN continues as our Guest Designer and you will like his interpretation of our theme. Do take a look at Kevin's blog, he has super designs on there.

My DT Card is shown below

I started with a 6 x 6 Scalloped Card Blank
Backing paper is from 'Ivory Cats' CD - Joanna Sheen
I placed a Pale Blue Pearlescent mat cut using my new Marianne Die - Anja Quandrant.
A darker shade of Pearlescent Blue, cut again from the same die, but this time the Lacey Element of the Die
My main image from the above CD has been printed onto Matt Photo Paper.
I decided it didn't need any further embellishments as the die speaks for itself.

I hope you will join us again as we love to visit you and leave comments.
Remember to use something from a CD in your design and say which CD you have used.

Pop over to the blog to read how my Teamie's created their designs this week.

I am hoping Mr Blogger behaves as I have scheduled this post and won't be able to check as we are out early in the morning.
