CD SUNDAY - BEAUTIFUL BLUE

Good morning to you all, it is frosty here in Leicestershire and yesterday saw the first sprinkling of snow.
Fortunately it only covered the cars and the garage roof but a sign that winter is not far away.
Sunday has come round again so it is time for our latest challenge over at
Thanks for all your entries last week, I speak for us all when I say we enjoyed visiting your blog's and finding out what you had used for your designs.

It is my turn to choose the theme for this week and I decided to go with
BEAUTIFUL BLUE
My DT Card is shown below

RECIPE THIS WEEK

8 x 8 Scalloped Card for the base
Pearlescent Blue Card which I embossed using a recent purchase from Joanna Sheen, it is a gorgeous
8 x 8 Embossalicious Folder called Regency Swirls
Using a darker shade of Pearlescent Blue Card for my mat which I cut using
a Spellbinder Die -Fleur De Lis Rectangles,  I attached a beautiful topper 'Clematis' from
Carnival of Colour CD - Ooh-La-La Creations
I added another beautiful Spellbinder Flower Die - Aster Flower Topper, ribbon from my stash and a few Gold Pearls to complete the design.

I hope you will enjoy this challenge and look forward to seeing your designs.
Remember to using something from a CD in your design and let us know which CD you have used.

Do pop over to see my fellow teamie's creations this week, stunning work as always.

CD SUNDAY CHALLENGE - FELINE FRIENDS

Good morning everyone and welcome to our latest challenge over at
Thanks for all your entries in last week's challenge, some great takes on the theme.
This week it is Beryl's turn to choose the theme and she chose
FELINE FRIENDS
KEVIN continues as our Guest Designer and you will like his interpretation of our theme. Do take a look at Kevin's blog, he has super designs on there.

My DT Card is shown below

I started with a 6 x 6 Scalloped Card Blank
Backing paper is from 'Ivory Cats' CD - Joanna Sheen
I placed a Pale Blue Pearlescent mat cut using my new Marianne Die - Anja Quandrant.
A darker shade of Pearlescent Blue, cut again from the same die, but this time the Lacey Element of the Die
My main image from the above CD has been printed onto Matt Photo Paper.
I decided it didn't need any further embellishments as the die speaks for itself.

I hope you will join us again as we love to visit you and leave comments.
Remember to use something from a CD in your design and say which CD you have used.

Pop over to the blog to read how my Teamie's created their designs this week.

I am hoping Mr Blogger behaves as I have scheduled this post and won't be able to check as we are out early in the morning.

CD SUNDAY CHALLENGE

Good morning everyone and welcome to this week's challenge over at CD SUNDAY
It is Jenny's turn to choose your challenge and she has decided to do a 'Sketch' for you this week.
We still have the lovely SUE with us as our Guest Designer and she has done us proud again. Do visit her blog to see her inspirational work.

My DT Card is shown below

RECIPE
8 X 8 Card Base
Backing paper from DOCRAFTS PAPERMANIA CAPSULE COLLECTION CD - my latest CD which came Free with Simply Cards & Papercraft Magazine this month.
Pearlescent Blue Card embossed with a folder from my stash.
I used the same card for the Circle which was cut out using Spellbinders Butterfly Circles Die and then used the same backing paper to cut a smaller circle using the same die.
My lace strip across the card was cut using a Martha Stewart Punch.
Peppermint Card Candi completes the card.

We hope that you will join in with us this week, not so many entries last week but it will still be difficult for me to choose my Top 3. Pop back on Tuesday to see if it is you.
My fellow teamies have gorgeous cards to tempt you, do stop by their blogs as I know they love reading all your comments, as do I.

Just remember to use a little something from a CD in your design and say which it is you have used.
