CD SUNDAY - AGED TO PERFECTION

Good morning everyone, I hope you are enjoying the Bank Holiday and the weather is kind back in the UK

Two more weeks in the sun for me then back home to catch up with all my family and friends.

Another week, so time for our latest challenge over at

CD SUNDAY

Sue B has chosen the theme for you and her choice is

AGED TO PERFECTION

Sadly, this is the last week for GLORIA who has been our Guest Designer for May.

We will miss her input but plan to ask her back later in the year. Thank you Gloria

Now onto this weeks challenge and my DT design is shown below

RECIPE

My favourite 6 x 6 Scalloped Card for the base.

Floral Frenzy - 6in x 6in Embossalicious Embossing Folder

for my base mat.

For the backing paper and main picture I chose to use a

Jems Design's CD - Yesterday Dreams

This particular design is called 'Memories' and I felt it suited the challenge really well.

An extra embellishment of a beautiful Marianne Butterfly Die completes my card.

I hope you will join us again this week as we love to see your designs, pick up new CD's, latest Dies etc and leave you comments.

Do take a moment to visit the DT's Blogs to see their interpretation of the theme

CD SUNDAY - OH CHRISTMAS TREE

Hello and welcome to our latest challenge over at CD SUNDAY

The theme this week is chosen by Caz and she chose - Oh Christmas Tree

I am sorry that my DT card is a day late but we are now wintering in Spain and the connection wasn't good yesterday.

Last week we said goodbye to Pauline and we have joining us as our Guest Designer for December,

Lynn who  you may know as Linby.

Lynn has been joining us regularary so the team decided to invite her to join us as we like her work.

As it is the first Sunday in the month we also have a Sponsor who is Jane - The Art of Craft

Jane is offering a voucher to spend in her shop for one lucky person, however to be in with a chance of winning the prize you MUST use something from a CD and tell us which CD you have used.

My DT Card is shown below

The image and backing paper is taken

from Thomas Kincade CD - Christmas

Printed onto Matt paper and added Mirri Board to matt the topper

A few punched flowers from the same Mirri Card and a sentiment from my stash complete the design.

I hope you will join us this week, especially as there is a chance of a prize.#

Do pop over to see my fellow teams creations and also visit Lynn.

CD SUNDAY CHALLENGE

Good morning to you, what an awful summer we are having. I hope you are not affected by the recent floods.

On the good side though, the weather means we have more time to craft, so once again welcome to the latest challenge over at CD SUNDAY

Our lovely Guest DT, Claire, continues with us for this month and I know she will have a stunning design to show you for our challenge this week which is:

BEST OF BRITISH

My DT Card is shown below

RECIPE:

5 x 7 White Card for the base.

Backing Paper from Debbi Moore CD - Shabby Chic Vintage Travel

I printed out a sheet of different toppers from Joanna Sheen CD - Faye Whittaker's London Section onto Pearlescent Card, cut them out and mounted them directly onto the backing paper.

I added my 'London Calling' sentiment from Red Mirri Card, embossed with the Swiss Dots Folder and used Gold Peel Off's for the words.

We hope you will enjoy this weeks theme and look forward to seeing and commenting on your designs.

Remember to use something from a CD in your design and say which it is you have used.

Do pop over to Claire's Blog to see her take on the theme and remember to visit my fellow teamies to see their designs, you won't be disapointed.

CD SUNDAY CHALLENGE - Things with Whiskers - Week 2

Good morning to you all, you may have noticed I have been missing for a few weeks due to having no internet connection. Well, now I am connected but from Spain.

Sunday has come round again and on CD Sunday the team decided to show you a few more ideas using the CD given to us by Elegant Inspiration who were our Sponsor for last week. As we didn't have much time to use the CD we are giving you another week of

THINGS WITH WHISKERS - PART 2

Your designs last week were super and I enjoyed visiting and leaving you comments on them all.

We have a winner for the Rachell Anne Miller Collection CD, so pop over to see if you are the lucky recipient.

My DT cards for this week are shown below.

RECIPE

A6 Card made using one of the backing papers from the CD. I chose this delightful 'Mouse' for my image which I mounted onto Pink Mirri Card which has been embossed using Swiss Dots Folder and my Cuttlebug. The Floral motif at the top is a Spellbinder Die from my stash.

RECIPE

A5 Card created using one the beautiful papers from the CD. My topper is from the section of cards where you click and print. I used brads to attach it to the card base. A Lacey Oval Spellbinder Die stamped with a message from 'The Butterfly Tree' set of stamps from Little Claire Designs completes the card.

Do pop over to see the beautiful cards from my fellow teamies again this week, you won't be disapointed.
