Good morning to all my Blog friends, another Sunday, so another challenge from us at

CD SUNDAY

Thanks for your entries in last week challenge, not so many but all so different.

Last week we said a fond goodbye to Tess but I am certain we can persuade her to come back later in the year. Thank you Tess, your input meant a lot to us all.

This week we have a new Guest Designer - LINBY who some of you may know.

RECIPE

I used a beautiful double sided Dark Grey Pearlised card which I bought at a NEC show quite a while ago, courtesy of The Touch of Craft for the base which has been embossed using the A4 Garden Lattice Folder by Spellbinders

The backing paper and the main topper is from one of Jems Designs CD's 

Yesterday's Dreams - The Gentlemen's Edition

I had an off cut of Pearlised White Card in my stash already embossed with the same folder which I used as a base mat for the topper.

My sentiment is also from the same CD, printed and cut out before fixing with Foam Tape to give it depth.

White Card Candi completes my design.

CD SUNDAY - DANCE

Good morning to you all, our last challenge for the month of June and still no sign of Summer.

Thanks for all your entries for last weeks challenge, so many of you and a few new faces so we must be doing something right.

Sadly, this is WYNN's last week as our Guest Designer here at CD SUNDAY but I am sure she will be back later in the year.

Thank you Wynn, your designs have been stunning.

RECIPE THIS WEEK

I made my own 6 x 6 Square Card for a change, I am busy sorting through my craft stash and found I have rather a lot of blank card to use up.

I took a piece of Core-dinations - Whitewash and put it through the GC using a latest purchase of the 'Tied Together Embossing Folder which I got from Maddylisa.

Anne (maddylisa)  has her own on line shop now, some of you may know her from Ebay.

I then sanded the core to reveal a lovely shade of peach which I think works well with the main image.

Onto the main image - this is from another new purchase -

Yesterday's Dream Gentleman's Edition.

I designed it all in CAP then printed it out onto Matte Paper for a change.

My sentiment of - Dance to the Charleston was also done using CAP. If you enlarge the picture you will see a couple dancing along whilst the music is playing on an old fashioned gramophone.

Good morning everyone, today is the longest day and it is cloudy and breezy here in Leicestershire.

Where has summer been, hope it returns very soon.

The backing paper and main design of a beautiful Swan is from one of my latest CD's called

I used Matte Photo for the image.

I used two more of the backing papers, embossed them with a beautiful folder from Sizziz, put them through my Big Shot before cutting them with a Lacey Circles die from Spellbinders.

CD SUNDAY - AGED TO PERFECTION

Good morning everyone, I hope you are enjoying the Bank Holiday and the weather is kind back in the UK

Two more weeks in the sun for me then back home to catch up with all my family and friends.

This particular design is called 'Memories' and I felt it suited the challenge really well.

An extra embellishment of a beautiful Marianne Butterfly Die completes my card.

CD SUNDAY - PURPLE PARADISE

Good morning to you all, I wish I could say it was lovely and sunny here in Spain but as the saying goes

'The Rain In Spain is falling mostly in Benidorm'

Sadly this is MARGARET's last week with us as a Guest Designer and she has blown us away with her beautiful designs and this week is no exception.

PURPLE PARADISE

Wendy and I think alike as we both have a love of this particular colour so it was easy for me to prepare my card for you and you can see it below

Lovely backing paper from PAM LEFORS - if you haven't visited Pam you should as she designs lovely kits and quite frequently does special offers.

My main design is from JEMS DESIGNS

If  you have seen any of the shows on Create & Craft you will know how beautiful their CD's  are.

This design is from 'Yesterday's Dreams' CD - one of the many delights on this CD.

I took it into CAP2 and played around with various sections until I was happy with my design.

 It is printed onto Glossy Photo Paper

There are 5 different layers on the card, however I am sending this through the post and to keep down the postal charges I made it flat.
