Get Well with SUE-B

Good morning to you all and welcome to our latest challenge from us at
This is the last bank holiday for the year and I hope you are enjoying an extended break although as usual the weather is not being kind. It is a sunny here as I type this post but no doubt it will change as the day progresses.
Thanks for your entries in the last challenge, not so many of you but Jocelyn will be choosing her Top 3 and they will be announced shortly.
This week it is the turn of SUE-B and I think she has chosen an easy theme for you.
Sue's choice is 'GET WELL'
We all need this sort of card at times so it is good to have one already prepared.

My DT Design is shown below

RECIPE

6 x 6 Scalloped White Card for the base.
The edges are covered with Pan Pastel Orange Tint
My backing paper is from one of Bearly Mine CD's - Designer Extremes Vol 1
Using the Orange Section, quite a change for me and I embossed a small piece to go along the middle using a new embossing folder from Cuttlebug - Geometric Rings
I used a Timeless Rectangle Die Cut to stamp my image of
Nasturtium's, a PSX Stamp I have had for a long time.
The image has been coloured using Spectrum Noir Pencils
 Florals No's 6, 7 & 8 and Nature No's 57 & 59
Glamour Dust to added a bit of sparkle on the flowers
A Satin ribbon and Card Candi completes my design.

I look forward to seeing your creations for our challenge, just remember to use something from a CD in your design and tell us which CD you have used

Do take a moment to visit our blog as my fellow team members have some beautiful work to show you. Plus you may even pick up a new CD to add to your collection

Victorian Beauties with CD Sunday

Good morning to you all, how time flies and it is Sunday again and time for our latest challenge over at

This week fellow team member WYNN has chosen your theme and I am sure you will love her choice.
She has chosen
VICTORIAN BEAUTIES

So it is time to check out all your CD's and see what you can design for us this week.

My DT Card is shown below

RECIPE

8 x 8 Scalloped White Card for the base
I chose a couple of beautiful papers to add to the card from
I haven't used Purple for a while so I chose to go with this colour theme.
My 'Victorian Beautie' Topper is from Joanna Sheen's ATC CD, a CD that doesn't get used much as I no longer make ATC's.
I added one of my latest Tattered Lace Dies - Double Delights which came free with Issue 2 of their Tattered Lace Magazine. If you like Tattered Lace these magazines are a must have.
I cut out the Die using Centura Pearl and I think it compliments the beautiful lace on the lady's hat and dress.

I hope you will join in with us, just remember to use something from a CD in your design and let us know which CD you have used.

Take a moment to visit our Blog to see the beautiful designs my fellow team members have for you this week.

I will visit you and leave you comments, which for me, is one of the nicest parts of being a DT Member.

CD SUNDAY - SHOWTIME

Good morning and welcome to you all.
I am rather frustrated as my connection here is Spain is so slow, it has taken me all the morning to get online.
Maybe it is Google Chrome as other people here don't seem to have the same problem.

Anyway, enough about my difficulties. Sunday is here again which of course means time for the latest challenge over at
This week it is the turn of CAZ, and she has chosen something a little different for you all.
Her choice is - SHOWTIME and my DT Card is shown below.

CAZ certainly set me thinking this week and having searched through the CD's I have here with me I decided to choose a Backing Paper from Bearly Mine Designer Extreme CD.
Having found nothing suitable to use for the image, I went looking through all my CAP2 Folders and came across a set entitled - SHOWTIME
The elements I have chosen are all things that create a  theatre scene.

I hope you will join in with us again, just remember to use something from a CD and say which CD you have used.
My fellow team members have created stunning designs, so do take a look at their blogs, you wont be disapointed.
