Penny Black Challenge - Recipe 3,2,1

Here is my card I made for the Penny Black Challenge this week.
The challenge was to follow a 'Recipe' using 3 Brads, 2 Ribbons, 1 Flower plus a Penny Black Image.
I stamped with Versafine then coloured the image with Lyra Crayons. 3 Brads were added to the large Flowerpot, this was layered onto a card which I had put through my Cuttlebug Machine using Swiss Dots Embossing Folder then attached to another strip of card, again using my Cuttlebug. The whole image I then mounted onto my card base which I had covered using Papermania Creative Tones - Equisite Paper. A large Pink Bow was attched to the top of the card with a smaller bow at the bottom of the image. As the final ingredient, a fabric flower has been attached to the bottom of my card. I decided to add peel-offs at the side of the image as I thought the hedgehogs were playing Hide & Seek.

Really lovely card Christine and a very unusual way to use the brads - excellent!

Lovely card Christine - I love that image and how you have brought it to life. The Hedgies in the Penny Black range are probably my favourites.

Have fun at the NEC - I don't get much annual leave where I work otherwise I would go for a weekday visit. Saturday tends to be a bit manic - but worth it of course!!

Leave some goodies for me!!

Love Jules xx
