CD SUNDAY CHALLENGE

Good morning to you all and welcome to CD Sunday.
I hope you are enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend and the weather is kind where you are. Can't believe this is the last holiday weekend before Christmas, what happened to summer.

Sadly, this is the last week for Michelle as our Guest DT for August, I am sure you will have loved what she has designed and I hope you will continue to visit her blog. Thank you Michelle, we have enjoyed working with you.

This week it is Jocelyn's turn to choose your theme and she chose:
GAME ON

My DT card is below

RECIPE
I chose a 6 x 6 scalloped card, using my latest purchase of Pan Pastels to cover the edges.  I chose Phthalo Blue Tint to compliment the colours in my design.
I selected a lovely piece of embossed paper - Splodge Design - from Sharon Duncan's Embossabilities CD to add as the background for the main image.
My main image has been created in Craft Artist using the 'Sport's ' Kit.
The Happy Birthday is a topper once again created in CA to which I added an image of rowing items.
My football, golf club, cricket ball, rugby ball, skittles and darts board have all been done as 3D.
I added some text to match the theme and highlighted it to stand out.

Unfortunately I did not have anything suitable amongst my large collection of CD's which is why I chose Craft Artist to design my card.

I hope you will join us again this week, remember to use something from a CD in your design and say which CD you have used.

Do pop over to see the rest of the Team's work, super as always.

Play Time with Craft Artist

I have been playing with Craft Artist which is all new to me.

RECIPE

8 x 8 Scalloped Card
Backing paper from Pam Lefor's Digi Kit range. Pam has 65% off most of her range at the moment. Well worth a visit.
My topper is from Caroline's latest Digi Kit - Fond Memories. Another beautiful kit from my good friend, do pop over and have a look what she has to tempt you.
I used Craft Artist to 'Transform' the topper, something new I have learned to do recently. I love the effect it gives.
A few punched flowers are added to the top left hand corner for decoration.

There is so much to learn with CAP and I am enjoying it very much.

CD SUNDAY CHALLENGE

Good morning and welcome to our latest challenge over at CD SUNDAY
Thanks for your entries last week, not so many but we did enjoy visiting your blogs and leaving comments.

We still have our Guest Designer - Sue with us and she has made a gorgeous card for this week's challenge, which is:

EASY ELEGANCE

You can see my DT Card below

RECIPE
I decided to start to use my Craft Artist CD for this challenge and I am pleased with how it came together.
I have been collecting beautiful papers, elements, tags etc from Raspberry Road Designs and these are the main part of my design.
A5 Lilac Pearlescent Card for the base.
Matted with toning Pearlescent Green card.
I have also been collecting more Spellbinders Dies and used the beautiful Ornate Artisan Tag & Accents on the lower half. A few Gems and a butterfly add the finishing touch.

I hope you will continue to join in with us again this week, it is always a delight to see how you interprete our themes.
Do pop over to see my fellow teamies work, all different and beautiful.

CD SUNDAY CHALLENGE

Good morning fellow bloggers and welcome to our latest challenge over at
This weeks theme is
NAUTICAL
and quite apt for the weather this weekend.

We are joined again by CHRIS who is our Guest Designer this month and she has designed a lovely card to share with you all. Take a look at her blog and leave her some love.

My DT card is shown below

This week I chose to use Serif Craft Artist CD for my background, 'Nautical' sentiment and sea shell.

I am still learning this program and I like how you can manipulate things before printing out.
I added a couple of digi images from my files to compliment the scene and coloured them using Promarkers.

As usual with our challenge we ask that you use a CD somewhere in your design, it could be a piece of backing paper or element and please say which CD you have used.

The rest of my teamies have been inspired with this weeks challenge, so please pop over to our blog and leave comments for them all.

Rainbow Lady's Challenge 154

Good morning to you all, what a week we have had with Mr Blogger, unfortunately we were not able to leave you comments last week but thankyou for you stunning entries.
I am late posting as my laptop decided it didn't want to play and I ended up having to reload everything from scratch.
On to this weeks challenge over at
RAINBOW LADY
We are staying with Song Titles and this week our challenge is
Some Enchanted Evening.
Us, the DT's were able to choose a Digi Image from our friend CRAFTY ANN who is sponsoring the challenge this week.
My DT Card is shown below

I created my card base using the FREE version of Craft Artist, I hope you can see the lovely palm tree.
My scene is from Crafty Ann which I imported into Craft Artist and changed the colour, it has then been cut with a Nestie Label Die.
My lovers are from Dancing with Shadows CD - Joanna Sheen
This is also cut with a smaller Label Die.
As a finishing touch, I added the words from the song.

We hope you will join us again this week as we love visiting your blogs to see your creations.
Hopefully we will be able to leave comments too.
