Silhouttes with Carol

Good morning fellow bloggers and welcome to our latest challenge from the team at

It was great to see so many entries in our last challenge and Jenny will have problems choosing her TOP 3, make a note to look again in 2 weeks to see if it is you.

We learnt this week that Wendy, who has been with us since the beginning has decided the time has come for her to step down. She will be missed by us all but we wish her well.

This week it is Carol's turn to choose your theme and she has decided
SILHOUTTES
so dig out your CD's and join in with us.

My DT Card is shown below

I am back with my favourite 6 x 6 Scalloped Card for the base
My backing paper and image are from one of my older CD's by Joanna Sheen
Dancing with Shadows
If you are like me you forget what is on these older CD's and I really enjoyed re-visiting it.
I used one of my Anja Dies to cut the main paper and used Centura Pearl and an embossing folder to attach the main image.
The embellishments are from my stash which I re-discovered whilst sorting my craft room.
They are the original ones by Papermania and are stored in individual clear boxes. Of course I had to use the Butterfly and Dragonfly and added 4 Teardrops to the edge of the mat.

Pop over to the blog to see what my other teamies have created and remember to use a little something from a CD in your design. It doesn't have to be a card, you can design ATC's Boxes, Bags etc, the choice is yours.

I love this image and backing paper. Bluebells are one of my favourite flowers and I love to visit Emmetts Garden at bluebell time - they have a wonderful woodland display.

Bluebells are a favourite of mine too Jocelyn. Reminds me of when I was very young and I used to walk through bluebell wood near my home.....often on my own without a care. Sadly couldn't let children do that now could we? Thanks for the trip down memory lane. W x
