Good morning to you all, hope you didn't get too much rain overnight. I am scheduling this post whilst sitting in a nice cool craft room as we had rain about an hour ago and it has cooled everything down.
Sunday is here again which means time for another challenge from us over at
I can't believe that we are almost at the end of July, where does the time go.
It has been my turn to choose your theme and I decided to go with
GARDEN PLEASURE'S
The lovely TESS is still with us as our Guest Designer for July and she has come up trumps again this week as her design is beautiful. Do take a minute to pop over to her blog to read all about it.
My DT Card is shown below
RECIPE
8 x 8 White Scalloped Card for the base.
I have added a beautiful backing paper to compliment this delighful image, both are taken from
TOM MIELKO PROJECT BOOK AND CD - courtesy of Joanna Sheen
If you haven't seen this book I would recommend you buying it.
They are so many beautiful projects (23 in all) it is hard to choose a favourite.
I printed the backing paper onto 160 gsm card and the image onto Matte Photo Paper.
The sentiment is also from the CD, cut out and mounted onto Foam Pads for depth.
To finish my design I used 3 gorgeous blue satin flowers complete with the pearl stamens.
These I got from a florist inside Derby Eagle Centre Market, they come in many colours and I must confess I bought quite a few.
I hope you will continue to join in with us, just remember to use something from a CD in your design and tell us which it is you have used.
My fellow team members have produced stunning designs to share with you so do take the time to visit them individually to see what they have to say.

A beautiful card Christine, and a gorgeous image you've used too.

What a beautiful scene for your main image Christine. I hadn't heard of this project book until this morning. Love those flowers - I've had some of those stamens for years and keep forgetting them.

A good theme choice Christine. Your image reminds me of Wisley where you know we were at the weekend. Lovely card.
