CD SUNDAY
This is the first Sunday in the month which means we have a new SPONSORORED challenge, we also have a GUEST DESIGNER for the month of February.
Our Sponsor is DEBS who has some beautiful CD's available to purchase from her Online Shop
The prize from Debs is one of her lovely CD's called 'BRYONY BEE'
Debs kindly gave the DT's some fabulous images to work with and chose the challenge theme of
FRIENDSHIP
Here is my DT Card
RECIPE
Base card and image from one of Deb's CD's
The image from the Decoupage Section has been printed onto Vellum.
Extra sections have been added using a 2 Needle Tool to make delicate perforations.
I used brads to attach the Vellum to the card.
The paper pleats were made using my new Hougie Board and one of the backing papers from Debs
A fabric flower, dragonfly brad and gems finish off my design.
We are delighted to have JANET as our Guest Designer for this month. Take a look at her blog to see her fabulous creations
We hope you will join in with us, all we ask is that you use something from a CD, it can be a small piece of paper, embellishment etc and say which CD you have used.

Hi Christine, I had to have a close look to see how you achieved the 'picot' look around your added elements. On first look I thought they were tiny peel-off's - THEN I read how you did it!!!
Very clever... and so pretty.
Love the whole design :-)

It's an adorable image and I love the paper pleating down the edge. Great card.

I just love the card Christine... I think if I had a favourite, Simply Strolling could well be it... I love the little cuties on it to bits! Thank you so much for inviting me to be part of the CD Sunday Blog Sponsors! xxx
I love this Christine. Debs did give us some great papers to use. I love your using parchment as well.

Lovely image, lovely card Christine. I do like the pleating and printing on vellum makes the image so delicate looking. Beautiful.
