Craftyanns Challenge No 3 TEXTURE

Here is my card for Craftyanns
Ann's challenge this week was 'Texture'
I took a blank silver pearlescent card from my stash to which I added a square of textured paper. The paper was made using 'Starburst Stain's available from The Stampman. Unfortunately I have forgotten which set of stains this is from as I have done lots recently. I used the 'Scrunch' technique and after it had dried I applied ink from my Versamark Pad before covering with Gold Embossing Powder/
Three flowers have been added from my stash which I think complement the colours, a butterfly brad attached to the centre of the flowers gives a finishing touch, as do the brads on each corner.
I hope that Ann likes what I have done and that it will fulfill her challenge this week.

This is fabulous Christine, it has all the texture I could possibly want! Great techniques too. I'll send you a pm about linking your card to the challenge properly so that you don't miss out on being in the draw which I'll be doing on thursday evening.

This is fabulous Christine. I love the look of this technique but haven't tried it (yet). Mainly 'cos I haven't got any Starburst Stains but I think I could try it with some other mica products. Anyway - this is gorgeous. Thank you for sharing it with us at Crafty Ann's challenge.
