CD SUNDAY CHALLENGE

Good morning to you all and welcome to our latest challenge over at
The challenge we have for you this week is
BLING IT UP
We are joined again by CHRIS who has been our Guest Designer for July, sadly this is her last week but we hope to have her back with us at a later date. Do pop over to her blog and leave comments. Thankyou Chris, we have enjoyed your input.
My DT card is shown below

I decided to use one of Debbi Moore's CD's - Glitter & Glitz Magic Moments.
My image has been printed onto Parchment and I used one of my Grids to make a border around the image.
Backing papers are from the same CD and I decided to use a couple of Martha Stewart punches to edge the image. The left hand side is a ribbon punch to which black ribbon has been threaded and gems in black & silver add a little bling.
The right hand side is a vine punch, a favourite of mine, again a couple of silver gems complete the flower centres.
I attached the vellum using white brads and completed the card with a few more black gems.

We hope you will continue to join us, our only rule is to use something from a CD and say which it is you have used.
Pop over to our blog to see what the rest of my teamies have designed, stunning as usual.

CD SUNDAY CHALLENGE

Good morning everyone, welcome to our latest challenge over at

We are done and dusted with Christmas for a while, thanks for joining us last week.

Our challenge this week definately has a 'girly' feel to it as it is
HANDBAGS
we can never have too many.
We are joined again by Chris as this months Guest Designer and she has delighted us with a fab design.

You can see my DT Card below

I have my Sister to thank for giving me this lovely die cut handbag.
I placed in an embossing folder - TRELLIS and put it through the Grand Calibur.
My elements are from the latest CD by Debs and is called Paper Flower Boutique.
I printed one of the many beautiful designs onto Parchment then carefully pricked around the circle and flowers with a 2 needle tool.
The leaves I decided to cut using small scissors.
Brads have been added to the centre of the flower and at the top and sides.
I used Apple Green Promarker to highlight the design which was already on the handbag.

I hope you will join us again this week, remember, all we ask is for you to something from a CD in your design and say which it is you have used.

Do pop over to our blog as one lucky entry from last week's challenge will have won a prize of Digi Stamps chosen by random generator.
The rest of my teamies have fabulous projects this week, so leave them comments as I know it is appreciated.

CD SUNDAY CHALLENGE

Good morning and a warm welcome to my blogging friends.

Sunday is here again so it is time for our latest challenge over at CD SUNDAY

This week our chosen theme is

LAVENDER & LACE

For my DT Card I chose My Craft Studio - Tattered Lace CD
This is the first time I have used MCS and I am slowly learning all the features within the CD's.

The image has been printed onto Parchment and a 2 needle tool gives a fancy edge.
It has been backed onto matching Lilac Pearlised Card
3 Gorgeous Flowers and 2 strings of Pearls give it a beautiful finishing touch.

We hope you have time to create with us this week, remember all we ask is that you use something from a CD and say which you have chosen.

There have been lovely entries for the Joanna Sheen Sponsored Challenge so pop over to the blog to see if you are the lucky winner of a £30 Voucher from Joanna herself and take a look at the gorgeous designs our DT's & GDT's have made for this weeks challenge.

CD SUNDAY CHALLENGE 11 - JUST FOR YOU

Good morning and welcome to the latest challenge from CD SUNDAY
The theme for this week is
JUST FOR YOU
there are lovely creations from the DT members, so please take a look.

I am sure most of you will have CD's hidden amongst your stash, so now is the time to bring them out and join in with us. The only rule we have is that you have to use an image, embellishment, or even a small piece of backing paper from a CD in your creation. Please say which CD you have used as we may not have seen it before.

MY CARD RECIPE:

Pearlised Lilac Card for the base
Backing Paper from Ooh-La-La Creations Shoes In Bloom CD which I have printed onto pearlised paper and then used a Martha Stewart Punch for a fancy edge.
Topper from the same CD - Sweet Peas selection, printed onto white parchment and edged with a two needle tool Pergamano Tool
Silver Mirri board to which the topper is attached with brads from my stash.
Sentiment - Just For You - from my computer mounted on Silver Mirri which I edged with decorative scissors and a butterfly brad attached at the bottom of the sentiment.

I really enjoyed making this card and can recommend this lovely CD
We hope you will join in with us this week and look forward to seeing your creations.

Second Parchment Card Design

This is the second card which we just had time to complete in our 3 Hour Class on Monday. This time we used a Pergamano Wave Tool for the fancy circles, a 2 Needle Tool for the edge and a Flower Tool for a little decoration, top left. The paper is again from K&Co Wild Saffron Butterfly Swirl range, as are the embellishments. A white lace peel off was added to the square cut out, just to finish the card off. All materials supplied by our Pergamano Tutor were from Personal Impressions. They are wholesale only but I have found other stockists using Google.

First of Two New Parchment Card Designs

Just for my Sister, here is the first of two Parchment Card's we both made at a class on Monday. The parchment work was done using the Semi Square Tool down the side and also on the cut out images. The backing paper is from K&Co, Wild Saffron Butterfly Swirl and the embellishments are Grand Adhesions in the same range.
This paper is gorgeous in real life, as are the adhesions. Of course I had to buy extra paper which is 12x12, one to keep, one to stroke, plus another pack of adhesions. All the materials were supplied by our Pergamano Tutor which I am sure she obtained from Personal Impressions.
