PENNANT PARADE AT CD SUNDAY

Good morning to you, hope the weather is good where you are. It has been a mixed week here but it isn't long before I head for sunnier climes.
Thank you for all your entries last week, Stripey seemed to be a hit with you all

Over at CD SUNDAY this week it is the turn of Sue-B to choose the theme.
I am sure this will be something you can all join in with as we ask you to think
PENNANT PARADE

My DT Card is below

RECIPE

My usual 6 x 6 Scalloped Card Blank as the base for my card.
Both the Happy Birthday backing paper and the main image come from of my latest CD's
Bebunni from Crafters Companion
It is a lovely CD and so much to choose from, having said that, both Jenny and myself have chosen almost the same image but in different colour ways.
You can see how different both of our designs are.
Mine is 'very PINK'
I printed off two of the images as I wanted to use one of the large circles as a matt to put onto the main design. It has been cut out using Lacey Circles die from Spellbinders.
I added a little silver glitter around the edge of the circle and then cut out both the sentiments which were on the sheet I printed.
Silver Card Candy finishes off my design.

I hope you will join in with us as we love to see your creations and leave comments on your blog.

Take a moment to check out my team mates blogs to see their interpretation of the theme, you won't be disapointed.

Just remember to use something from a CD in your design and say which it is you have used.

Have fun and I will be visiting you all during the coming week

For my DT Card I chose 'S' is for
SWANS
and you can see my design below

RECIPE
My favourite 6 x 6 Scalloped Card for the base.
The backing paper and main design of a beautiful Swan is from one of my latest CD's called
A SWAN's SONG - courtesy of JEM's DESIGNS
I used Matte Photo for the image.
I used two more of the backing papers, embossed them with a beautiful folder from Sizziz, put them through my Big Shot before cutting them with a Lacey Circles die from Spellbinders.

I hope you will join us this week as there is so much scope for the challenge.

Do pop over to see what my team mates have created this week, you won't be disapointed

Challenge #6 - Bah Humbug

Over at Bah Humbug this week, the 'humbuggers' - Ann & Max, have set a fab challenge to use a 'Doilie' in your creation.
As I had recently aqquired some whilst at 'Sincerley Yours' Craft Show last month I thought it would be a super challenge to take part in.

I cut out a Lacey Circle Die using my Cuttlebug in some beautiful red card I have had for ages.
My Stamp is from a Freebie Set by Adam Prescott, courtesy of Card Making & Papercraft Magazine.
My punched two tiny christmas trees and backed the card in green.
Gems & Ribbon are from my stash.
So easy to do and it is another one for my 2011 christmas box.
