Christine Says - Layer it Up - 2

Good morning to you all, how time flies when we are having this beautiful weather. Spring is really here at the moment, the birds start their dawn chorus early and the wonderful Spring Flowers make our gardens look pretty.

Another 2 weeks has passed so of course it is time for our latest challenge from the team over at

CD SUNDAY

Jenny will have trouble choosing her Top3 and she will post in time for our next challenge.

We are continuing with our Special Challenge for Wendy and you have a further 3 weeks to enter.

This is the link to take you to our page where you can read all about it.

Onto this weeks theme which is chosen by Me and I chose for you

LAYER IT UP - 2

Lots of scope for you to use Die Cuts, Decoupage, Layers etc, just remember to use something from a CD in your design.

This is my contribution

Presscut Step Card Cutting Die - PCD01 for the main card base

Backing Paper from Joanna Sheen CD - One Summer's Day

Lace Flower Border from Brenda Exeter

Two Butterflies by Cheery Lynn

Central Die is from Tonic

Two side flourishes are Anja Dies which I have had for quite a long time

My dies have been cut using Silver and Beige Pearlescent Card

I hope you like my design and I look forward to visiting you and leaving comments.

Take a moment to visit the challenge blog to see the beautiful creations my fellow team mates have created for you.

I am entering my card into the Ooh-la-la creations Blog Challenge

Floral Frenzy with Wynn

Good Sunday Morning to you all and I hope you are keeping warm and safe.

Sunday's come round so quickly and it is time for our latest challenge from the team at

CD SUNDAY

Our last challenge chosen by me didn't seem very popular with you but I will be choosing my TOP3 and Carol will post my selection in two weeks time. I have a little something for my winner but as I am out in Spain it will be delayed until I return home at the beginning of April.

Our challenge this week is chosen by WYNN and I know you will love her choice of

FLORAL FRENZY

You can see my design below

RECIPE

6 X 6 White Scalloped Card for the base

I chose backing papers and the lovely image and sentiment from

Joanna Sheen's CD - One Summer's Day
'Floral's Large' Selection

As my backing paper had a lacey effect I printed it onto Pink Card so it would show up. The small Plant Pot in the corner is part of the backing paper.

For my topper and sentiment I used 200 gsm Smooth White Card

3 Green Pearls complete my design.

I hope you will join in with us again, just remember to use a little something from a CD in your design and tell us which CD you have used.

My team mates have designed lovely cards so do pop over to their blogs to see what they have used.
