Rainbow Lady's Challenge 141 - Shabby Chic

Good morning fellow bloggers and welcome to our latest challenge over at
Rainbow Lady
Our theme this week is SHABBY CHIC and my DT card is shown above

We are sponsored this week by the lovely Steph of Crafting UK who is giving a fabulous prize to one lucky participant.

RECIPE:

Backing papers and lovely image are from 'BRYONY BEE' CD courtesy of Debbee's CD's
This CD is a special and only available if you spend £25 or more in Deb's Online Shop.
Flowers from my stash give my card the Shabby Chic look.
I used a Martha Stewart punch for the delicate corner edging and completed the look by using purple gems.

Thankyou for all your entries in last weeks challenge, we enjoyed visiting your blogs and leaving comments.
Pop over to Rainbow Lady's Blog to see if you are the lucky winner of last weeks challenge.

Alcohol Inks

Two more cards made today both using Alcohol Inks, Pesto, Currant & Caramel.
The card on the right was put through my Cuttlebug using Perfect Paisley Embossing Folder, backing paper is from K & CO - Classic K McKenna range.
I added flowers from my stash in tones to match the card with a small pink brad for the centre of the flower.
The card on the left has the Floral Fantasy Embossing Folder and Happy Birthday Folder attached to backing paper from K & CO Hydrangea Stripe pad.
To add a little sparkle Red Gems have been added, again from my stash.
I have quite a few K & Co paper pads which I intend to use this year.

I have entered these into Craftyanns challenge blog.
I hope Ann thinks they are acceptable as this is my first try with Alcohol Inks.

I am also entering Cynthia's challenge 85 which is to recycle. My recyled piece is the biscuit wrapping paper plus glossy card left over from other cards to which I added Alcohol Inks for depth.
Hoping Cynthia likes my entry

Digi Stamp Retreat for CR Members

Here is the card I made for Creating Rainbows Digi Retreat. The digi image is from Ann

Ann very kindly offered all forum members a choice of 'General' or 'Christmas' for their choice of a Digi Image & Backing Papers.
I got to use Ann's lovely Jean's image, I first printed the backing paper onto Glossy Card then put it back into my printer to print the Jean's image.

The only rule was that the image had to be used and we could add whatever we liked to take part. It is such fun and so nice to see what other members have made.
