Get Well with SUE-B

Good morning to you all and welcome to our latest challenge from us at
This is the last bank holiday for the year and I hope you are enjoying an extended break although as usual the weather is not being kind. It is a sunny here as I type this post but no doubt it will change as the day progresses.
Thanks for your entries in the last challenge, not so many of you but Jocelyn will be choosing her Top 3 and they will be announced shortly.
This week it is the turn of SUE-B and I think she has chosen an easy theme for you.
Sue's choice is 'GET WELL'
We all need this sort of card at times so it is good to have one already prepared.

My DT Design is shown below

RECIPE

6 x 6 Scalloped White Card for the base.
The edges are covered with Pan Pastel Orange Tint
My backing paper is from one of Bearly Mine CD's - Designer Extremes Vol 1
Using the Orange Section, quite a change for me and I embossed a small piece to go along the middle using a new embossing folder from Cuttlebug - Geometric Rings
I used a Timeless Rectangle Die Cut to stamp my image of
Nasturtium's, a PSX Stamp I have had for a long time.
The image has been coloured using Spectrum Noir Pencils
 Florals No's 6, 7 & 8 and Nature No's 57 & 59
Glamour Dust to added a bit of sparkle on the flowers
A Satin ribbon and Card Candi completes my design.

I look forward to seeing your creations for our challenge, just remember to use something from a CD in your design and tell us which CD you have used

Do take a moment to visit our blog as my fellow team members have some beautiful work to show you. Plus you may even pick up a new CD to add to your collection

I love the layout of your card Christine and the chocolate bow is a perfect colour to match the orange and yellows. Think we should have a few more takers with the theme this fortnight.....always a useful type of card to have. Hugs Wynn x

A pretty card Christine and it's nice sometimes to use colours we don't usually go for.
