Good morning fellow bloggers, hope you have been enjoying the beautiful weather, just a shame it changed for the weekend but the gardens do need some rain.
It's time for our latest challenge over at CD Sunday
Thanks for your 'DIES' entries, not quite so many but I am sure Jenny will have a difficult time choosing her Top 3
We are back to full strength with the team and we are all pleased that Wendy feels well enough to come back. Welcome home Wendy, we have missed you
Onto our challenge for this week and the theme has been chosen by Carol and I think it is a little different
Carol's choice is - Round Again (recycling)
My DT Contribution is shown below
The first picture is my 'Before' and it is the back of the large tissue box
I have been following a Stampin Up Demonstrator's site - Sam Donald who is Pootles
This lady has some fabulous Video Tutorials and well worth a visit and also welcomes new people to the world of Stampin Up
I started with the back of the tissue back and covered it with backing paper from
Following Sam's tutorial I then made if into a small box - check the link to see 'how to make it'
I added complimentary papers from the same CD to matt onto both sides of the box using some of my flowers punches to make small flowers and added tiny Gems for the decoration
My tags have been made with the same card as the box, covered with the same paper and the corners cut using my scissors edgers (I had forgotten I had these)
There is a story with the tags, I made 4, however when trying to put the ribbon through the hole and tighten it up, it tore, so there is only 3
The next picture shows the tags complete with ribbon and extra flowers and gems for decoration
It is different to the one that Sam has made and I hope she doesn't mind me using her idea.
I really enjoyed making this as it felt like 'real crafting' and I will make some more at a later date.
I hope you will join in with us, just remember to use something from a CD in your design and tell us which CD you have used.
Do visit our blog to see what my fellow team mates have made for you, all different and beautiful

Love this idea Christine. I am definitely off to check out Sam's tutorials. I know what you mean by 'proper crafting' much more satisfying than simply making a card even tho cards do take up a lot of 'creative' time. It's just good to do something a bit different. Hugs Wynn x
