CD Sunday is presenting DIES for the next two weeks

Good morning everyone and welcome to CD SUNDAY

I hope you have been enjoying the super weather this week.
I certainly have as I have just returned from a couple of weeks in Spain. It has been too hot for me as the temperatures reached 30 deg on a few days and didn't cool down much at night.
Serves me right I suppose for taking a sabatical while my fellow team members were stuck in the UK.

Thanks for all your entries in our last challenge, some stunning designs and I am sure that CAZ will have difficulty choosing her Top 3.

I think we are giving you an easy challenge for the next two weeks as I know many of you will have lots
of DIES in your crafting stash.
This is our theme and has been chosen by Jenny

You can see my DT Card below

I chose to make an 8 x 8 Scalloped Easel Card which coincided with my husbands birthday.
I used backing papers and the main topper of this beautiful Barn Owl from my

My topper has been printed onto Matte Photo Paper.
For my 'DIES' element I used Quatrefoil Pattern Trellis to sit the topper onto, cut out using Centura Pearl Hint of Silver Card
The stopper is an Opulent Oval Die
My Happy Birthday Sentiment is from Tattered Lace along with the two corners and the strip underneath the stopper.

This CD is one of my particular favourites
Pollyanna's artwork is stunning and in my opinion a 'must have' CD

I hope you will join in with us especially now you have two weeks to make your design.
Please remember to use something from a CD in your design and say which CD you have used.

Take a moment to visit my fellow team members blogs to see their designs, you won't be disapointed.

This is a great card Christine, I love the owl and the die behind is very pretty, not seen this one before or if I have haven't taken much notice.

Great colours too.

Lovely card Christine. I have this CD but have to admit that I haven't used it yet. I will have to try and choose a suitable theme for my next turn.
