Vellum 40th Birthday Card

This card I made this afternoon for my Cousin Alison who is 40 this week. I decided to give my parchment work another try and I am pleased with the finished card. I used Pergamno Lavender Fantasy Paper for the design then drew the pattern borders with Stabilo Fine Liners before using a 2 Needle Tool to perforate. To give the card a 'Lace' look I used my Flower Perforating Tool
I attached a Lilac Spray from K&Co which was already 3D, again perforating around the border and the spray. This was then attached to some gorgeous Scented Marble Card in Lilac and a' Special Day' 3D message finishes the card. Rather than use DST, Silver Thread was used to 'Sew' the Vellum, Card & Insert together.
I hope you like what I have done and appreciate your valued comments

Oh my Christine this is so beautiful the techniques you have used with your tools is awesome. The colours are so calming and pretty love that image as well was it already glittered or did you do that? I think your cousin will treasure this card always.
