CD SUNDAY CHALLENGE

Good morning to you, I hope you are enjoying the weekend. Soaring temperatures today, so the weather people say.
Another week, another Sunday which can only mean it's time for our latest challenge over at CD SUNDAY
You did us proud last week and you dug deep to use your Tassels, these are precious and only used for special cards, so thanks for your stunning entries.
Sadly this is Jocelyn's last week as our Guest Designer, she has done us proud and hope she return later in the year.
Our challenge this week is something a little easier as we want you to show us your
MIXED BOUQUET.
My DT card is shown below

RECIPE
6x 6 White Scalloped Card
Backing paper from K & Co - Classic K McKenna
The backing paper and topper are from Joanna Sheen's Floral Fantasy CD
Nestability Die Labels 20 - new to me this week, check out this link
Ribbon from my stash, matching bow using my Bowmaker

We hope you will join us again this week as we love checking out your blogs and leaving comments.
Remember our only rule, use something from a CD in your design and say which it is you have used.
Pop over to see what the rest of my teamies have been up to this week, stunning creations as always.

CD SUNDAY CHALLENGE No 5 Days gone By

Another week, another challenge from CD SUNDAY
This week's theme is
DAYS GONE BY

For my DT Card this week, I chose an image from Joanna Sheen ATC Assistant CD.
The image reminded me of 1943 and my parents wedding photograph.

The image has been printed onto Glossy Photo Paper before matting onto Gold Mirri.
Behind the image are 3 Skeleton Leaves, unfortunately the scan does not do them justice.
My backing paper is by K&Co - Classic K McKenna
The sentiment shows LOVE which is what the photo is about.
A finishing touch of a peach bouquet and a Fleur De Lis corner completes my card.

Do take a look at the lovely creations from the rest of our DT Team.
Hope you will join us this week on CD Sunday

Alcohol Inks

Two more cards made today both using Alcohol Inks, Pesto, Currant & Caramel.
The card on the right was put through my Cuttlebug using Perfect Paisley Embossing Folder, backing paper is from K & CO - Classic K McKenna range.
I added flowers from my stash in tones to match the card with a small pink brad for the centre of the flower.
The card on the left has the Floral Fantasy Embossing Folder and Happy Birthday Folder attached to backing paper from K & CO Hydrangea Stripe pad.
To add a little sparkle Red Gems have been added, again from my stash.
I have quite a few K & Co paper pads which I intend to use this year.

I have entered these into Craftyanns challenge blog.
I hope Ann thinks they are acceptable as this is my first try with Alcohol Inks.

I am also entering Cynthia's challenge 85 which is to recycle. My recyled piece is the biscuit wrapping paper plus glossy card left over from other cards to which I added Alcohol Inks for depth.
Hoping Cynthia likes my entry
