BLOG HOP + LOTS OF COLOUR CHALLENGE

Over at Crafty Ann's is a Blog Hop with a difference plus a challenge called - Lots of Colour
This week until 3rd June Ann is running her Blog Hop and Challenge. It has been running for two weeks and as usual I am late taking part.
She has her latest Digi designs to send to a lucky winner.
All you have to do is visit her blog, leave comments on her design team blogs, collect the words shown, when you have collected all the words you should have a lovely verse. Ann ask's that you email her with your answer and add the number from Mr Linky when you take part in the challenge.

For my card I chose a collage stamp from Crafty Individuals which I bought last September whilst at the Craft Barn. This is the first time it has been used.
It was stamped with Versamark then I added Sticky Embossing Powder and heated.
Various colours of Moonglow Mica Powders were brushed over the image.
I can't seem to get away from butterflies but I love this particular stamp, hope you do too.

Sorry for the picture, my scan does not bring out the lovely colours, will try again with my camera

Rainbow Lady's Challenge 82 - MICA POWDERS

The challenge over at Rainbow Lady was to make a Card, ATC, Tag, Inchie etc, using Mica Powders
I chose to make a card using one of my favourite stamps, after stamping with Versamark I sprinkled Sticky Stuff Embossing Powder over the image, heat set then used my Cosmic Shimmers in various colours.
This is the first time I have actually mastered using Cosmic Shimmers. This is a big thankyou to my Rainbow friend, Frankie.
Frankie's advice was to use a number 4 paintbrush and I have to say, it works.
So I will be using my Cosmic Shimmers & Moonglow Mica's a lot more now.
The scan doesn't show up the glimmer, in 'real life' it is stuning.

TIO Challenge 8 - Simplicity & Serenity

Here is my tag for this weeks challenge over at Frankie's blog. The title is Simplicity & Serenity. I stamped using Versamark, a stamp from The Stampman titled Agapanthus Long. I then brushed Cosmic Shimmers - Circus Brights, Set 3 in Mango Orange & Summer Green. As this tag had texture the colours stayed on the tag, which I think has given a subtle effect. I attached a satin bow in a complementary colour to finish my tag off.
