Everything Stops for Tea with JOCELYN

A warm welcome to you all and from us the Team over at

I can say 'warm' as I am still out here in Spain for a few more weeks.

Your challenge for the next two weeks has been chosen by
JOCELYN
A theme I am sure you will love as in England we have a saying that
'EVERYTHING STOPS FOR TEA'
and this is Jocelyn's choice.

Carol has posted my Top 3 and I will send something to Jane once I am back home in April

This is my contribution for the challenge this week

RECIPE

Cream 5 x 5 Card for the base
The backing paper, image and sentiment are all from
Crafters Companion CD - Meadow Cottage Bears
I added a lovely piece of cotton lace and a few pearls which I got out here from one of the many Chinese Shops in the area.

I look forward to visiting and leaving comments on your blogs, please remember to use something from a CD in your design and let us know which CD it is. We are a nosey bunch and wouldn't like to miss out on a CD we don't already have in our collection.

See you again in two weeks

Wednesday, 14 January 2015

Good afternoon to all you follow me and a late but warm welcome to our latest challenge from us the team over at CD SUNDAY

I am still overwintering in sunnier climes but for the last few days have been suffering with some sort of virus plus a very bad cough. My energy levels are low and I not doing much of anything other than relaxing.

JENNY has chosen the challenge for the next couple of weeks, which is
ANIMAL ANTICS.

So dust off those CD's and join in with us.

My Design is shown below

I chose to use Cottonball Capers for my CD and printed off backing papers
and this cute image of Dancing Mr Fox.
I don't have a lot of supplies out here but did find a few Die Cut's to mount Mr Fox and Friends onto.
Four green pearls were added to make the image 'pop'

I hope you will join in with us and share your take on Jenny's theme.

So Cute

What a fun afternoon I am having, I am colouring more stamped images from my friend Lorraine and couldn't resist making this lovely Cuddly Buddly image into a card. I coloured the image with my Lyra Pens which I received as a present, then decided to layer on Aqua card which I had put through my Swiss Dots folder, before attaching to a cream mount. The whole matt I then put onto a card which had been covered with Papermania Paper from their Creative Tones - Venitian Skies range. A finishing touch was added at the top with a blue/grey ribbon embelishment from my stash. I am thrilled with the end result.
