Good morning to you all and welcome again to our latest challenge over at
Last week we said to goodbye to the lovely Debs who was out GDT for August and as it is a new month we are pleased to introduce you to Hazel of Hazelshappyhouse who is this months Guest DT.
When you see what she has given us this week you won't be surprised that we asked her to join us at CD Sunday.
As it is the first challenge in the month we have a fab new Sponsor for you, none other than the lovely Glenda
You may remember Glenda as being one half of Graphicus, however when this site closed Glenda started up Chocolate Baroque.
She generously gave all the team a wonderful CD to work with and she chose our theme of
INSPIRED BY PEACOCKS.
My DT card is shown below
6 x 6 Scalloped Card Base - a favourite type of card for me at the moment
Backing Papers from Inspired By Peacocks CD
Nestabilitie Die - Labels 20 - my latest purchase
I stamped this beautiful peacock direct on to the Label using Memento - Paris Dusk Ink and stamped a few peacock feathers direct onto background using the same ink.
Glitter has been added to the feathers for a little sparkle along with Gems to give some texture.
A satin ribbon from my stock was placed down the left hand side with a little Card Candi added, again for texture.
I has been a pleasure to see all the lovely designs this CD has to offer and my thanks to Glenda for her support of our blog.
One lucky person will be chosen to receive a fabulous prize of not 1 but 3 CD's from Glenda.
Remember all you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is to create a Card, ATC, Scrapbook page etc using something from a CD and say which CD you have used.
Do pop over to the challenge blog to see what the rest of my teamies have done for you this week.
Apologies from me as I lost my Internet connection both last night and this morning so hence the later post.
