Challenge 22 - Surprise Surprise Bah Humbug GDT

Good morning to my blogging friends and I am so excited as I have been selected to be Bah! Humbug's Guest Designer for the month of June. How wonderful is that.

Ann & Max have chosen a super challenge for you all this week, which is
'SURPRISE'

We want you to create a project with a hidden surprise and for my Debut DT design I chose to make an Advent Calendar which you can see below.


I have used the Christmas CD from Thomas Kincade triple CD, courtesy of Joanna Sheen

I printed the design onto an A4 White Pearlescent Card and very carefully cut out the 24 individual windows with my Craft Knife, not as easy as you think.

This is backed onto a 'hidden' second sheet and when the windows are opened they reveal a scene for each day leading up to Christmas Day.

By the beginning of December you should have lots of cards ready to post and it is all down to this fabulous blog.

Challenge 155 - Rainbow Lady

Good morning to you all, what a lovely morning it is too, the sun is shining and the birds have been singing since daylight.
Another week has flown by so once again as it is Thursday it is time for Rainbow Lady's latest challenge.
This week our chosen theme is
'Sunrise Sunset'
and we are sponsored once again by the lovely Joanna Sheen

Onto my card which you can see above, I covered a 5 x 5 square blank with beautiful paper from Joanna's Thomas Kincade CD, then cut a toning piece using my Lacey Squares nestability die.
My topper has been printed onto cream pearlescent card and is from Joanna's Enchanted Dreams CD - Fantasy Section.

CD SUNDAY CHALLENGE

Good morning to all my fellow blogging friends, I hope you are enjoying the last Bank Holiday break for a while.
Time for our latest challenge over at
CD SUNDAY
which is
'SAY IT WITH SCALLOPS'
Sadly this is the last week for JEN as our GDT, she has done us proud with her cards and we hope to persuade her to return later in the year.
My DT Card is below

RECIPE

8 X 8 Scalloped Card Blank
Backing paper and the design in the centre are from - Flower Flies & Flutter Bugs CD
I have just got this fabulous CD from my friend Debs and if you click on the CD link it will take you to her online shop.
I cut another of the beautiful backing papers with my Grand Nesties Scalloped Circles and then used one of the toppers from the same CD.
A little Glamour Dust has been added to the centre flower for a bit of sparkle.
Burgundy Organaza Ribbon has been attached down the side and for my bow I used my latest present, a Bowmaker from my Sister. I am always complaining that I can't tie bows, so now my problem is solved.
A few Gems finish the card.
