Bah Humbug - Holly

In the nick of time, here is my entry for the first challenge of 2011 from Bah! Humbug
Last year I started with good intentions to make a Christmas Card every week and join in their challenges. Needless to say, I didn't make it.

For their challenge they ask us to use Holly or Fairies, or both, it is your choice.

I chose to give this beautiful Holly Stamp from Artylicious it's first airing.
The image has been coloured using Mary le Plume Pens and the edges have been distressed using, of course, Distress Inks.

Do pop over to Bah Humbug to see what their DT's have come up with this week and join in the fun, if you only make one card a week, you will have 50 ready for Christmas 2011.

Challenge #135 - Winter Sketch

Good morning to you all and WOW, thanks for so many entries over on Rainbow Lady's Challenge Blog last week.
I don't think I have ever seen so many entries so a huge thankyou for taking part.
This week our theme is - Winter Sketch, my teamie Audrey has provided the sketch for us all to work with and the image is from this weeks Sponsor - Chi Chi Memories
I coloured this super image with Marvy Le Plume Pens and added Crystal Glamour Dust to give a little sparkle.
My fringe was done using left over knitting yarn and the spotted ribbon from my stash.
I punched 3 Snowflakes from Holographic Card and added a Happy Christmas sentiment which I got from Lakeland.
We hope you will join us again this week and I promise to visit you all and leave comments on your blogs.

CD SUNDAY CHALLENGE

Good morning and welcome to our latest challenge at CD SUNDAY

This week we are asking you to think - NEW YEAR, NEW TO YOU

For my DT Card this week I chose a beautiful image from Enchanted Dreams CD from Joanna Sheen
I have heard so many positive comments on this particular CD and I have to say I agree with everything I have heard. This really is the best CD yet from Joanna. So pleased it 'fell' into my basket earlier this week.
I printed the backing paper onto Cream Pearlised Card and the gorgeous topper on Glossy Photo Paper. Of course, I had to choose an image depicting butterflies, so as soon as I saw this I knew this was for me.
I attached a ribbon border edge from what little stash I have and decided to go with the butterfly theme and added a sparkly embellishment to complement.
I received good news today concerning my Craft Stuff, some of you may know that we had planned to spend the winter in Spain, however we had an accident travelling through France on day 1, the end result being our Caravan is no more. Of course all my things were inside and today we heard that the caravan is coming back to Southend on Tuesday. All we have to do is hire a van to collect everything, so this time next week I should have it all home. Yipee.
Thankyou for your entries this week, we really enjoyed seeing your creations and leaving you comments. So pleased to see a couple of new faces joining in with us.
One of you will be the lucky winner of a £10 Voucher to spend at Bearly Mine, so do check our blog to see if it is you.
The DT's have excelled this week, everyone of us has used something 'NEW', so without delay check us out.
