Rainbow Lady Challenge - Lavender & Lace

Here is my card for Cynthia's challenge this week. I have only just made it as it closes later today.
Cynthia's Guest Designer Claire chose
LAVENDER & LACE

For my card I used toppers, backing paper and actual flowesoft from their Lavender & Lace collection.
I haven't used flowersoft for quite a while and these are the only two colours I have.
The lace from my stash has been coloured using Distress Ink - Dusty Concord
I added a few gems for a little bling

I made a little mistake whilst creating this, suffice to say, the base card was upside down once I had added the toppers Oooops!!!! Well it happens to the best crafters LOL
No panic though as I have lovely pearlescent card in a matching shade, so I cut my original card in half before mounting onto the lilac card.

I hope this pleases both Claire & Cynthia.
Do pop over to both of their blogs to see some inspiring work.

CD SUNDAY CHALLENGE

Another week has gone by so time again for this weeks challenge from
CD SUNDAY which is
LOOKS LIKE SUMMER

Our DT's have created beautiful cards again and above is my creation for this week.

For my card I chose to use the fabulous - Shoes in Bloom CD

I think this particular CD is lovely when printed onto Parchment Paper

RECIPE

Pearlised Card from Penniesworth
White Parchment Paper
Beautiful image & background papers from Shoes in Bloom CD

I chose two of the matching papers along with this beautiful topper to make my card.
The topper has been printed onto White Parchment to which I added a lace border using a 2 Needle Tool.
To compliment the shoes I have worked a lovely pattern using a 4 needle tool, embossing in between the perforations before cutting into crosses with my Pergamano Scissors. I think this is one of my favourite patterns and easy for a beginner to follow.
This has been attached to pearlised card with butterfly brads from my stash.
I made a diagonal cut as I wanted to show both sets of the paper and then attached the topper onto half of the card only.

Do pop over and look at the fabulous cards from the Design Team this week.

We hope we have inspired you to join in with us and look forward to seeing your work
