Rainbow Lady's Challenge 102

Here is my card for Cynthia

Her challenge this week is
Your Own Choice With a Twist
Make your own backgrounds, no printed papers allowed.

I decided to incorprate a card which I had put through my Cuttlebug using the Paisely Embossing Folder to which I added a background of Wallpaper which I stained with Starburst Stains.
My butterfly was also made from wallpaper, cut out with a butterfly die and embossed.
My little sentiment - Just For You was a Free Bentley Bear Stamp from Cardmaking & Papercraft this month.

I hope this meets the criteria Cynthia set.

2nd Card Today and thanks to Eileen

I have been blog hopping this weekend and found Eileen

Eileen's blog is full of hints and tips for using your Cuttelebug and well worth a look.
She inspired me to get out my 'Bug' and try new ideas.
As Beatrix Potter is so much part of the crafting scene at present, I thought it was about time I used the elements that came free with a crafting magazine (sorry I can't remember which one)

Elements

White Linen Card
Paisley Embossing Die
Mrs Rabbit plus embellishment
Burgundy Ribbon

I do like this style of card, so thank you Eileen for showing new ways to use your dies/folders etc.

Eileen
also has another blog and is well worth a visit.

Hope you like what you see

Ooh-la-la Challenge - MINIMALIST

This is the first time I have joined in with Ooh-la-la-creations after promising my friend Anne that I would try my best.

Their theme this week is - MINIMALIST - (white space essential)

I have been using my Cuttelbug over the weekend and decided it was perfect for the challenge.

Elements

White Linen Base Card
Victorian Embossing Folder
Butterfly Die and Embossing Folders
White Peel Off

I would never think of choosing White for the main part of a card, so thankyou DT's for showing me the lovely effects that can be obtained.
I hope this is suitable

CD SUNDAY CHALLENGE 4

Here is my DT Card for Challenge 4 over on CD SUNDAY

My image of a beautiful Country Cottage is from The Cardmakers Year CD from Joanna Sheen, printed onto Photo Glossy Paper with a black surround.

The main background is Silver Mirri which I embossed using the Victorian Cuttlebug Embossing Folder. To this I added Hazelnut & Mountain Rose Alcohol Inks to give a shimmer effect.

I used a Martha Stewart Punch and Stardream Card to make a fancy edge to the top and bottom of my card.
Petaloo Flowers and 2 Butterflies add the finishing touch.

Please pop over to CD Sunday to see the other DT Members creations.

We look forward to seeing your designs this week
