Rainbow Lady's Challenge - TREES

PHEW!! Talk about last minute!!

Here is my card for Cynthia

Cynthia's challenge this week was 'TREES'
My stamp is from Clarity which I have titled 'LAZY DAYS'
It was stamped using Peeled Paint Distress Ink onto a shape from Nestabilities Labels, (not sure which one), layered onto a larger shape and in turn layered onto my card which had previously been stained using Alcohol Inks before running through my Cuttlebug with the Victorian Embossing Folder.

Note to myself: don't leave it as late next week

CD Sunday Challenge No 1 - Wings and Things

Good morning all, today sees the launch of the new challenge blog
CD SUNDAY

The theme for this week is:
WINGS and THINGS

This is the first time I have been part of a Design Team and feel so honoured that Wendy chose me along with 7 other fabulous designers.

My love of butterflies prompted me to use a lovely image and backing paper from 'Floral Fantasy' CD from Joanna Sheen.
The image has been printed onto Glossy Photo Paper and matted onto delicate blue pearlised card. The backing paper is also from the CD and the 'lace' edge was done using a Martha Stewart punch, which are so popular at present.
My finishing touches are butterfly & dragonfly brads and Petaloo Flowers.
