Alcohol Inks

Two more cards made today both using Alcohol Inks, Pesto, Currant & Caramel.
The card on the right was put through my Cuttlebug using Perfect Paisley Embossing Folder, backing paper is from K & CO - Classic K McKenna range.
I added flowers from my stash in tones to match the card with a small pink brad for the centre of the flower.
The card on the left has the Floral Fantasy Embossing Folder and Happy Birthday Folder attached to backing paper from K & CO Hydrangea Stripe pad.
To add a little sparkle Red Gems have been added, again from my stash.
I have quite a few K & Co paper pads which I intend to use this year.

I have entered these into Craftyanns challenge blog.
I hope Ann thinks they are acceptable as this is my first try with Alcohol Inks.

I am also entering Cynthia's challenge 85 which is to recycle. My recyled piece is the biscuit wrapping paper plus glossy card left over from other cards to which I added Alcohol Inks for depth.
Hoping Cynthia likes my entry

Recycle With Craft Stamper Freebie

The latest FREE Stamp from Craft Stamper Magazine plus a recycled Biscuit Wrapper.
5.25 x 5.25 square base card to which I added a backing paper from Basic Grey - Sultry range. The gold paper is a biscuit wrapper recycled. Stamp is the latest one with February issue of Craft Stamper and has been designed by Glenda. Glenda has lovely sample cards in the magazine using this stamp. I have subscribed to the magazine as I think it is the best around for stamping and techniques.

Swirls meets Joanna Sheen

Here a a few cards I have made today. The backing papers were 12x12 from my stash, sorry, can't remember the name. I used Swirls stamps from Personal Impressions stamped with Versafine Vintage Sepia and Archival Coffee Inks. I added a couple of flowers, again from stash to match the bp. The images are from Joanna Sheen's CD Floral Fantasy.
3 more to add to my birthday card box.

NEW YEAR, NEW YOU

HERE IS MY FIRST CARD FOR 2010

It fits nicely with two of my favourite challenges, firstly, Craftyann
and secondly, Cynthia

My card base is 5.25 x 5.25 to which I added paper from my stash.
The two stamped images are:
Just for You from Papermania
Swirls & Flourishes Set 1 from Personal Impressions.
Both stamped using Oregano Distress Ink from Ranger

The background of the flower is a piece of glossy card which I covered with Ranger Alcohol Inks, Pesto, Cranberry & Caramel.
This was then put through my Cuttlebug using my Stylized Flowers Embossing Folder.

Both sets of stamps are new and the Alcohol Inks were a christmas present from my sister. I am now hooked on these inks so I will be adding to my collection

I hope that my card is acceptable for both challenges.
