Emmy Says Hello

My project for today, if I told you how long it took to do this card I am sure you wouldn't believe me. The image and colouring took no time at all, the hardest part was deciding which papers to use from my stash, and then how to layer. I used a Cuddly Buddly image which Lorraine had stamped and sent to me as part of her encouragement for me to use 'Cute'. The colouring was done using both my Lyra & Watercolours which was then mounted onto a lovely shade of pink metallic card from my stash. Then came to hard part, which paper to use, do I use a strip which had been put through my Cuttlebug plus what else, get the picture. Anyway about 1 hour later I am pleased to show the finished card. I am still not sure about the Cuttlebug strip though.

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge

The challenge for the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge is called 'RECYCLE'. The image is one I saved from a birthday card received last year and liked it so much that I couldn't bear to throw it away. I knew that I would make it into another card eventually, so this is the result. The base card is A6 using Navy cardstock from my stash, then I used my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Folder to emboss onto Aqua Pearlised card. To complement the colours a Burgandy Organza was wrapped around the card before attaching with 3D Foam Pads the 'Recycled' Image. I am really pleased with how it has turned out.

Crafts4Eternity Challenge

I decided to join in this week with crafts4eternity challenge. I have used a 5 x 5 cream card blank, attached two different papers from the Papermania Creative Tones, Antique Cream range, then as the challenge was to use 2 circles, I selected the large circle from my Brenda Walton Somerset Friendship Tags and a Metal Button from Inspirations. A peach satin ribbon & bow were attached towards the bottom of the card, again following the challenge sketch.

I am pleased with the finished product and think the colours blend well together.
