Harlequin Rose Themeplate

Another card using my Harlequin Rose Themeplate. The image has been stamped with Stazon Stone Grey and coloured with Lyra crayons. I cut the edge with my deckle scissors to match the card blank and ran a Versacolour Ink Pad, shade 12 (Green) around the edge of image and card blank. I feel that something is missing to give it some appeal and would appreciate any comments, good or bad.

Cuttlebug Meets Harlequin Rose

I have had this Harlequin Rose Themeplate for just over a week, so I decided today to cut out the images and have a play.
The image has been stamped using Stazon Stone Grey, then watercoloured using Lyra crayons. I used my deckle edge scissors to give a fancy edge, before matting onto vellum which had been put through my Script Embossing Folder, I then layered it on to gold mirri card before layering on to gold paper which had been put through Cuttlebug Scroll Folder. The whole thing was mounted on to a 5 x 5 card blank and I added a cream ribbon bow to the side to finish the whole think off.
This is a beautiful themeplate and over on Julie's blog there are some wonderful cards that she has made with this set of stamps. Do check out her blog.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

I decided to take part in the Penny Black Saturday Challenge this week using my new stamp. The image was stamped using Stazon Stone Grey and coloured using Lrya Crayons. I used my Cuttlebug and Nestabilities to cut out 2 circles then using my Compass Cutter I cut a larger circle.
The stamped image was matted onto the large scalloped circle before attaching the whole thing to the largest circle. This is my first Penny Black Challenge but I am sure it won't be my last.

So Cute

What a fun afternoon I am having, I am colouring more stamped images from my friend Lorraine and couldn't resist making this lovely Cuddly Buddly image into a card. I coloured the image with my Lyra Pens which I received as a present, then decided to layer on Aqua card which I had put through my Swiss Dots folder, before attaching to a cream mount. The whole matt I then put onto a card which had been covered with Papermania Paper from their Creative Tones - Venitian Skies range. A finishing touch was added at the top with a blue/grey ribbon embelishment from my stash. I am thrilled with the end result.

Another Cutie - Dreamweaver

Another card using my 'present' stamps from my special friend Lorraine This is called 'Dreamweaver' and again a Penny Black Stamp. For this I used a Hammer Card Blank to which I attached a sheet of Papermania Creative Tones Paper from their Venetian Skies range. The image has been stamped with Stazon Stone Grey and coloured using Watercolour Pencils. I then attached the image to Aqua colour card which I had put through my Swiss Dots folder before attaching to the main card. I thought it needed a little something extra, so I fixed two Prima Flowers to the bottom right hand corner.
I am so pleased with the outcome especially as 'Cute' is new to me.
